WMIT has developed mission critical administrative software for a large international shipping organization.

The software supports administrating international shipping and was developed in close collaboration with local shipping experts specialized in shipping everything with wheels (RORO: cars, trucks, machines etc).

A worldwide network of offices registers shipments and the sender and receiver are specified. The software developed by WMIT combines these shipments into bills of lading and freight manifests. These documents enable everybody (from captain to customs) to know what is loaded on the vessel and to where it is destined.

The software is commissioned in 2009 and is currently used on a daily basis. New versions of the software are distributed using an advanced update system.
